In the centre is the Kinoglaz programme, in the upper row the names of several film studios ('Kul'tkino', 'Sevzapkino', 'Juvkinokomsomol'), in the lower row, forming a connecting line between the programmatic centre and the various shooting locations (the Crimea and the Caucasus, Mongolia and Turkestan, Siberia, Dagestan, Chechnya and others), the names of Vertov's colleagues (Kaufman, Lemberg, Zotov, Beljakov etc.; beneath is detailed information about the motifs for shooting (Moscow, means of transport, Leningrad, city, port,...). Several additions, including in the centre of the sheet the note "For a lecture, sent to Comrade Belenk'ij". | ||

| Comments: | It is an organisational plan for shooting a film project, which became later as Šestaja čast' mira - commissioned by Gostorg (State Commerce of the USSR). Moisej [?] Belenk'ij had obtained the commission for Vertov and was in 1926 deputy director of the Soviet Trade Delegation in Berlin. This indicates that the sketch dates from either 1925 or the beginning of 1926. | |
