Reconstruction The longest existing version of Kino-Pravda No. 21 (Length: 821m), reconstructed by the Munich Film Museum, is available on DVD, as well as Tri pesni o Lenine, for which Vertov drew extensively from Kino-Pravda No. 21.
Red Terror A period of political repression and mass killings carried out by Bolsheviks after the beginning of the Russian Civil War in 1918.
Smychka A political term in Soviet Russia meaning "alliance," most often used in reference to the "alliance of the city and the village" (between workers and peasants)
